From July 20 through July 28, this week-long celebration will bring together local artists, performers and art lovers to showcase Stowe’s rich arts community and deep connection to the arts. Events will take place all over town, encouraging patrons not only to appreciate and participate with Stowe’s culture and artists, but also interact with the community and experience the breathtaking landscape of Stowe.

This summer’s events kick off with an opening celebration of summer July 20th from 4-6pm at Helen Day Art Center. That same evening, Spruce Peak Performing Arts presents Judy Collins in concert. Stowe Performing Arts features the Bumper Jacksons in the Trapp Family Meadow on Sunday, July 21.

Stowe Arts Week is hosted by the Stowe Arts and Culture Council, a group of Stowe community members, organizations, and business representatives who gather regularly to collaborate and plan to further the vibrancy and attractiveness of Stowe as an inspiring creative place to live and visit, with the promotion of Stowe as a global center for the arts at the core of its mission.

Long known as the “Ski Capital of the East,” Stowe is an epicenter of the arts. In 2018, Stowe Arts and Culture Council presented the first Stowe Arts Week to celebrate Stowe's long history and involvement in the arts. A sincere "thank you" to all who participated in the many events of the week.  This annual event will take place July 20 - July 28, 2019. Please contact info@stoweartsandculture.org if you'd like to be involved or for more information.

The  Stowe Arts and Culture Council (SACC) is a group of Stowe community members, organizations, and business representatives who gather periodically to collaborate and plan to further the vibrancy and attractiveness of Stowe as an inspiring place to live and visit. It has developed into a group that promotes Stowe as a global center for the arts.
